Aikidojo Leiderdorp is proud to announce the release of its first DVD: Aikido with Henry Kono.

Filmed in May 2011 during a seminar that Henry Kono held in the Netherlands at Aikidojo Leiderdorp, this DVD combines footage of an interview with Kono Sensei along with materials from several classes given during and around the seminar. Henry talks about his experiences learning Aikido from O’Sensei and explains what he feels is fundamental to the practice of this “knowing art”. The themes he discusses are underscored by footage from the classes.

We hope that this will be the first in a series of DVDs we’d like to produce.

All proceeds for this DVD go to Henry Kono, so please consider donating the €10 price of the DVD, even if you have managed to acquire the footage elsewhere.
